Inspired by my trip to Rome, I created a self-guided audio tour for the Vatican Museums in collaboration with Context Travel, a company known for small-group educational tours led by experts and scholars. The experience helps curious museum visitors explore art and history beyond traditional sightseeing. Visitors can scan the QR codes positioned throughout the space to access the information as they explore. Using layered vector illustrations and photography captured in Rome, the campaign creates a cohesive visual system that encourages curiosity, discovery, and a more engaging museum experience.

Guests will pick up brochures at the desk to start the tour. The brochure includes a map of the Vatican with an outline of the tour route. This includes the 1st and only QR code on the brochure. The rest of the QR codes will be in front of or along the route. After you scan the QR code, you'll be taken to the website I created to host the audio recordings. You can either scan each QR Code or pick the point on the map.

Museum Signs

As the viewer walks through the museum, there will be easy-access signs. The viewer is meant to scan, listen, and explore the artwork.
